Letter From MomThe MTV awards were quite an experience for me. I flew in the day of the show to find streets blocked because of the U.N. meetings. Security was everywhere. I have never seen so many under-cover policeman! The car dropped me off at Radio City because I wanted to see Brit. It took me an hour to find my driver when I was ready to leave. The police had blocked off many of the streets around Radio City due to all the celebrities arriving. The fans were there early and the crowds were growing by the minute. ...... Click here.

It's Official: Britney Spears And Justin Timberlake An ItemBritney Spears has officially confirmed the rumor that she is dating 'N Sync heartthrob Justin Timberlake. In the October issue, Spears tells Elle magazine: "When you're really comfortable with someone you love, the silence is the best. And that's how me and J. are. When we're in a room together, we don't have to say anything. And when we go out to a club, it's like we're the only two people there. It's for real."

Designing Kids RoomsBritney Spears is designing decorations for a special hospital room in The Children's Hospital, New Orleans. A spokesperson for the hospital says, "We're really pleased with the plans. The kids already have so much Britney stuff in their rooms, their walls are adorned with her posters anyway. They will love the fact Britney is going to be designing a room for them.

Britney's Mom, Lynne Spears has put up a new letter dated 8/17/00 on The Official Britney Spears Website. Lynne starts off the letter saying "Summer is officially over! Jamie Lynn is in school, going to gymnastics three days a week, and dance once a week. I am actually taking it easy for once in my life. The new house takes up some of my time, but I feel like that is a fun project. It is turning out much more beautiful than I ever anticipated. Hopefully, they will be finished in time for the holiday season. I have so many holiday ideas to try out in the new house. I'm planning for some parties already. This holiday season we have so much to celebrate and be thankful for. We are all . . . . ."

Britney Undressing for CharityBritney Spears, Faith Hill and Blink-182 are among those donating their britches to a Yahoo auction. More than sixty celebs will shed and sign their blue jeans for "Undress for MS Yahoo! Celebrity Jean Auction." Proceeds will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Southern California Chapter. For those interested in acquiring a set of celebrity jeans, the auction kicks off on August 28 at http://auctions.yahoo.com/.
